While in Chicago for Kaitlin + Pat’s engagement session, we were in an über for a good chunk of time and during that (interesting) ride, I got all the fun details for their wedding day. I heard who they would be working with & started to get pumped that they had such a great group of wedding professionals on board… I am so very honored & humbled to have made the cut! Bee for the Day made everything run smooth & helped us get to the spots we needed to for photos during cocktail hour. Bartz Viviano outdid themselves with beautiful succulent planters with bright tropical flowers that made me wish I knew how to keep such lovely things alive in my own home. AND my girl Aimee at Modernly Events brought in pops of vintage decor, aqua + teak & all sorts of mid century modern goodness! Oh my EAMES 😉

So as much eye candy as there was for MWP to photograph, Kait + Pat, their friends and family stole the show with their vibrant personalities, sentiment & light heartedness. It was a joy to be their photographer! It always makes me sad when amazing couples wedding day has come to an end and I don’t get to look forward to their big day. Bittersweet!
