Anyway, enough about that…
I knew our team would be in for an incredible day being a part of Meredith & Brandon’s wedding. Brandon’s family & friends were just as warm and kind as Meredith’s family. The way Brandon looks at Meredith with sparkling eyes, you know these two have something special. It was a day that I was sad to see come to an end. At the end of the night, I said to Meredith and her sister: ‘That’s it! There are no more sister’s weddings I could photograph :(‘
It is an absolute honor and delight to be in this industry for as many years as I have. 9 years ago I became official, official with the whole LLC and paying sales tax. The bookkeeping, the SEO, making a living out of something I love. Something I actually just stumbled into. It is a sometimes difficult business to be in. Making amazing images in whatever type of lighting circumstance we may be walking into on a day that is full of emotions and sometimes anxiety.
It is days like Meredith and Brandon’s where I am reminded that it is worth it. I enjoy the challenge, I enjoy the heightened emotions and being able to capture a day the best I can for a family to look back on for decades.
Biggest congrats you two! I am looking forward to chatting with you both on Skype soon!
